This company FALSELY represents their contract break terms to you. They do NOT disclose the necessity for a 200 dollar break fee, OR their "requirement" that you send a letter certified mail proving you have moved. Despite continued efforts to communicate with them when my family moved 2,500miles away 2 years ago to WA for employment they have ignored me and brushed me off. They sent our "contract" to a "debt" agency for a superfluous amount of money NEVER stated on our contract. We have offered multiple times over the years to pay their break fee if they remove this "debt" for services NEVER rendered and for money never owed. They have REFUSED. At this point in time my family of 4 is struggling to repair credit that is being destroyed by this false debt. We are literally unable to purchase a home because this company has allowed this "collections" to sit on our account, for a contract we tried to legally break. They do not honor their contract terms, they miscommunicate, and they verbally misrepresent their contracts. I would NEVER sign a contract here, as you are not a human being to them, you are a number, and they are looking to milk you for all they can get.

I joined this gym nearly 3 years ago. Paul was the manager who signed me. At the time I was hesitant about signing a 3 year contract and asked if I could cancel if I moved out of the area. I was assured by Paul that wouldn’t be an issue. Today I went in and informed the front desk staff I was moving and would need to cancel and was told I would have to pay $200 to cancel. This was never mentioned by Paul when I joined. When I signed I was told of all the things the gym offers for kids. Every time I bring my son in, whatever we had planned to do isn’t available. I switched from Gold’s gym because of the ammentities. I was much happier and felt more comfortable and welcomed at Gold’s. I even liked the layout of the equipment at Gold’s better as it makes much more sense.

Don't be fooled by the great facility, stay away!! While the gym itself is incredible with a great children center, just hope you never have to break your contract. It is easier to buy a house than break contract with this gym.  In fact, we were buying a home out of state at the same time we were trying to break our contract and I had less emails and required documentation with our lender than the gym.  They are unwilling to approach each case on an individual basis.  They required documentation that was not available (pay stub with address) and even though I forwarded multiple other documents indicating proof of a move out of state and a new employer, as well as the $195 cancellation fee, they continued to charge our credit card the monthly fees.  This occurred AFTER receiving an email notifying us our account had been canceled! When I said I would dispute it, and they said that my membership wouldn't be cancelled if I did. The customer service in the cancellation department took several days to respond to each email, were not willing to work with me and at times very rude. Find another gym.

STAY AWAY, everything at this gym was great at first, then I met a man who worked there, his name was Brandan and he is an assistant front desk manager. This man, is the reason why I sold my membership, (it's a 3 year contract). He is a very sick perverted man, and I am ashamed that this place would ever have him work there. He sexually harressed me, even while he was married, and continues to make women feel very uncomfortable I hear still. He is the reason, why me, and multiple of my friends left. He is very creepy, and if you ever think about joining national fittness center, DONT, because they hire people like him, and there's a lot more that work there similar to him, you will be in danger if you get a membership here because of him, female, or even male from multiple accounts! If I am further contacted by him I will be pursuing a lawyer.

This place is terrible. The weight room is subpar. The trainers are extremely rude! The people who go here leave their weights everywhere, stand in the way, and openly badmouth others. This is not the environment I want myself or my children in.. Also, this is a 3 year contract, no exceptions. To cancel you'll pay $195 "processing fee", an extra month's payment, and have to have moved 20 miles away AND your job must be 20 miles away with proof of such. Not to mention if your home OR your job we're already 20 miles away there is no way to cancel the contract. Hire a lawyer before signing!
