I have to admit I was skeptical about having a facial. As it was my first experience it is really hard to compare it with something. She used a special clay that is suppose to be really great for the skin. Joan was very pleasant and calming. The other various lotions were very nice and she explained what she was doing while she was working since it was my first time. The skin on my neck and shoulders is very soft now compared to before. When I came home my husband thought I smelled great; a combination of the various treatments that were provided. I definitely will be going again and trying some of the other services provided by Native Springs Spas; perhaps the body exfoliation next time.

I have very problematic skin and receiving facials from Joan has been a Godsend. My skin responds amazing well to the soothing and medicinal qualities of the mud Joan uses in her work. Also the aromatherapy oils and other products seem to calm my skin, smooth out the texture and speed up healing. Another bonus to spending time with Joan is I always leave feeling relaxed and that I was in good hands. I have also invested in products for my skin from Native Springs and I am very pleased with the quality and results.

I am forever grateful that Joan sent me to her dermatologist for a tiny problem spot on my face.  The lab test showed a melanoma.  Joan’s advice through the excision and healing was invaluable.  Her recommendation to bring a plastic surgeon into the process helped create excellent cosmetic results.  Joan is passionate about skin care, and she is dedicated to the well-being of her clients.
