So cool! It was a cool day, so I had the place to myself for hours, and I just loved it. I didn't quite have the fortitude to swim off into cold water through the cave, but so nice to wade about inside and outside the cave mouth all the same. The trail was nice and wide and only got a little overgrown near the end. I was fearful as someone super sensitive to poison oak, but felt much better once I had seen it. The hike out was not as bad as I had psyched myself up for. It took 24 minutes to get down and 30 minutes to get back up (and I'm in terrible shape).

Wonderful 1 mile and a half trail. You need to look for the stairs at the end. There are some wooden hidden ones to go down the cave. I would recommend to take some water shoes, the river is very rocky.

Wonderful! Watch out for poison oak all along the trail. Parking and bathroom at trail head. MUST take a tube or floating device to sit on or lay on top. The cave is wonderful. Water is freezing cold so go when is hot. I recommend wearing water shoes, it will make it easier to walk on the stones.

The secret is it out and the bloom is off the rose! Obviously an amazing place - please be sure to pack out what you pack in - extra Karma / Feel good / Dopamine points if you pick up after those who came before you. Have fun!

Perfect hike for the kiddos to explore. I took my 9 and 13 year old. They said it was the best Adventure they have been on. We took tubes with us, blew them up at the Cavern. We got there fairly early which was nice, by noon the place was packed! The hike down was very easy the hike back up was just a tad bit hot! Bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty all around you. Please make sure you take your trash back up with you there are restrooms at the trailhead!
