It's a smaller store but I can't complain since I do love my betta and he seemed to be in better health than most chain fish stores. The man isn't rude like most people mentioned he was. 😂

First time there and is a new favorite of mine - well stocked with fresh/salt fish and accessories.  Solid knowledge and very friendly.  I live in Pacifica and this is the closest legit aquarium store to us.  Better prices than the box stores too!

I am so glad I found this place! The owner has a quiet demeanor, which I think some misinterpret as rude, but this is not the case. The guy clearly has a passion for fish-keeping and possesses a wealth of knowledge. I am an experienced aquarist and San Francisco native and found this place while visiting my mom in South SF. Sure, there are a number of places in SF proper, but I prefer to come here for livestock because the fish, shrimp, and snails I purchase are always healthy and always thrive in my aquarium. Another bonus is that many fish come from local breeders rather than being shipped from who knows where. The fish at this store have the best coloration, likely because they experience less stress from transportation. Give this place a shot- they have a number of species that I have not seen elsewhere, which is also very cool.
