The only place in socal where someone can get into the art of aquascaping. This is not your typical aquarium pet store. Most of the products are high grade, and slightly pricey, and are geared towards those who are serious about the hobby. Don't come here looking for a bowl with gravel for your goldfish you won at the fair.

If you are getting into planted aquariums, then this is the place to figure it out. Owner is super friendly and helpful. Always ready to help answer difficult questions. He will not walk around the store bugging you if you need help. He is always working and busy taking care of the shop. But if you go and ask him he will be more than helpful. Don't be shy to ask for help. His products are top of the line and he has everything you need to start you off right in the world of planted tanks. His display tanks are inspirational and beautiful.

Shop owner is extremely helpful, has saved my tank from complete destruction several times. Store is beautful and inspiring for those getting into the hobby, unbelievable selection.

I will drive to this shop from long Beach. Great selection fish and plants. Very knowledgeable about plants and always very helpful. I would say its the Best Fish Store in southern California if you are looking for plants and info. He carries fish that other shops don't. It's great to see a variety of fish here. .
