I liked how many trails there were. People were friendly. Shop on base has fair prices for family souvenirs.  Lots of entertainment options for rental or if you stay in the lodge; they have ping-pong and pool table as well as many board games for free. 
Downfalls:  no outhouses on trails. Alpine Tower books up FAST & are only open on Saturdays.  No cell service. No emergency phones on trails. 
Overall an excellent family retreat. No tv time for my family here, although available.

Had great sites, clean restrooms, nice drive to twin lakes, and decent wifi. I would stay here again.
