I am always impressed with the pier. It's a wonderful place for dates, fun with the family, it a fun night out with friends.

There are a ton of food options, mostly generic, but a few gems as well. Till my husband on his first visit, it was a chilly day, but we still had fun.

Would recommend.

This review written on December 4, 2017. A good part of the pier area is closed for remodeling. A selected attractions are open. So, check before you go for your favorite attraction or eating place. Most restaurants are open but a few are closed because of construction. Winter Wonderland is open in the exhibits area and is worth a visit. Depending on weather conditions, the large ferris wheel and some of the boating attractions may be closed.

Navy Pier is a downright wonderful place to visit. Not only does it beautify the lakefront, but you can find fun for the whole family, things for all ages to enjoy. You will find shops, eateries, theatres, an impressively large Ferris wheel, and, being a pier, various vessels dock here from whence they embark on lake cruises. They even have an array of cute little shops and kiosks selling tacky knick-knacks. Navy Pier is a must-visit locale in Chicago.

I love Navy Pier there is literally something to do here everyday. They have endless activities for the adults and the children. The food here is great with so many different options. I've been going to Navy Pier since I was a kid and I'm now 29 yrs and still no complaints.

Great place to visit for photos if you're staying in downtown Chicago. You can easily walk here. Pro tip: Go just an hour before sunset. The whole place is beautiful. Lots of little shops and food stands and great picture taking.
