Nearly New Shop is the Chester River Hospital Auxiliary’s thrift store. We offer gently used adult clothing, shoes, jewelry, household goods and books.
Nearly New Shop opened in July 1958 and is the Chester River Hospital Center Auxiliary’s thrift store. It is located in downtown Chestertown in the historic Methodist Meeting House next to Fountain Park. It offers gently used adult clothing, shoes, jewelry, household goods and books and features a designer clothing section.
Volunteers assist by sorting, tagging and displaying donated merchandise as well as staffing the store during business hours.
Nearly New Shop is open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Nearly New Shop is staffed by The Chester River Hospital Auxiliary's volunteers. Proceeds from sales benefit the patients served by The University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.
