Nellis Baptist Church was organized in 1956 by members from the Nellis Air Force Base Chapel. The present sanctuary was built in 1964. The Child Care and Sunday School classrooms were built in 1974. There are four buildings located on the church grounds. Our current Fellowhsip hall was originally used as the church sanctuary. Today's facility serves the surrounding community with a food ministry and Friday Night Youth outreach.
"Bearing Fruit for Christ" Going off of the Church's adopted verse: Proverbs 11:30, our Church Mission is to Reach, Preach and Teach the Word of God to any and all people, no matter their background or creed. Christ came to die for the sins of ALL people and charged the Church with the task to preach the word in His name.
