Excellent food and service! Two $$ is a bit low since the entrees cost in the teens to the thirties. Still decent value. Restaurant was a bit dim for my taste. My chicken marsala was tender, very flavorful and perfect temperature. My wife's ravioli was great and we had enough to share with our little one.

Wow of you want to impress the woman in your life this is the best place to have dinner. This is true Italian dining, the staff gives the best experience an service. Prices are pretty good considering the service. When I go to dinner I plan to be there for around 2 hours. The special is over at 630 pm. An women leave with a carnation.

Had a good meal with great friends. I was very impressed with the whole experience, the staff is very professional, they did an awesome job! Love, love, loved the salad with fresh grated blue cheese, yummy! My filet was cooked perfect, broccoli with lots of garlic, always a plus!

I came here once for a light meal between lunch and dinner. Ordered the anchovy and tomato plate (in the Salads section of the menu) and a cup of minestrone to go. The anchovy plate consisted of two big lettuce leaves topped with about one sliced roma tomato and a few anchovy fillets drizzled with oil and vinegar. Incredibly little food for over $10, but more importantly, the lettuce leaves had puddles of dirt and grit on them. I can't imagine what happens in that kitchen if they can't even wash the lettuce before serving. Minestrone was fair but overpriced.
 Dim lighting and nice tableclothes don't make a crummy joint a 4 star restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere. I'm never going back.

Absolutely the most professional restaurant in Redding. Everyone works as a team to get things done, and they are on top of it! Food is excellent and staff is very nice, polite and friendly! I highly recommend Nello's Place if you're  looking for a great night out!
