Poorly organized and insensitive. They make it pretty obvious that they are a business and nothing more. They sell packages like you’re going on vacation and after we expressed how we felt, the only consolation they offered was that this was standard anywhere. 
It’s not. And thank goodness we decided to explore our options because we were met with such kindness and understanding elsewhere. Not a cold TV screen buffering caskets and advertising prices and videos at every opportunity.

It took me three years to finally write a review. I cannot say enough good things about Nelson's. My Dad passed away 3 years ago. A week before he died I went to their competitors. From the minute I walked in she tried to steer me towards the more expensive caskets. Everything I asked for she would tell me not to worry about it and we can worry about it when my Dad passed away. When she finally gave me a price I was shocked. I walked out and drove to Nelsons. I was met by a wonderful man who was soft spoken and caring. I told him exactly what I was looking for and my situation. He took me to exactly the casket that I was looking for. He didn't try to upsell me. He listened and showed so much compassion. That is exactly what I needed. It is the hardest thing to lose someone that you love and at that moment you need someone who is caring and thinking about your needs and not what they can get out of you. I can never thank them enough. They were amazing. As I stated before I cannot say enough good things about the loving care we received and the bill that we got was half of what the other place had quoted me. I recommend this business to anyone that  is looking for a caring staff and reasonable prices with quality care.
