I have been taking my 5 children to Dr. Nelson's for the past 14 years. My family loves him. He always fits us in with close to no wait time. I couldn't say enough good things about him and his staff. Dr. Nelson does not call prescriptions in without seeing my children. He absolutely does not push any kind of medicine on his patients. My children are in the best hands with Dr. Nelson as their pediatrician. We all love him.

Unfortunately when Dr Shipsky left there was a hole in the medical intelligence of the practice.  The current doctor is not up to current standards of of medicine or antibiotic protocols and just throws drugs at kids that are sick. Bedside manner is also poor and he does not seem to engage with children which would be the main purpose of a pediatrician.  It seems just to be about pumping patients in and out for money.

The best pediatrician in the area! Very educated and up to date on all vaccines and medications. His staff is absolutely amazing, and above all very personable! I would never take my kids anywhere else!!!
