I was excited to see some Dogfish Head and some Three Floyds available here, but the dates were pretty old. I was going to ask the guy at the counter some questions about said beers, but he appeared to be too busy listening to Liberal hating conservative radio at a loud volume over the store speakers. Overall, a pretty poor experience unfortunately.

This guy is a jerk. My son and I parked on the edge of his parking lot to check out the fireworks stand and he asked us to park elsewhere if we weren't going into his store. There were NO other cars in the parking lot! We have purchased liquor here before, but glad that Minnesota just passed a law to sell on Sundays. I know where I'm NOT buying liquor.

This guy has a problem with bikers.
Stopped there on a quiet weekday afternoon ,not ONE SINGLE car in his parking lot, we lingered in the lot a few minutes having a smoke and stretching when groucho yells at us out the door that it's a customer only lot with a ten minute limit.what the hell is he bitching about we were there to by off sale obviously and check out town and eat and hang out.....I said " I was going to buy some beer from you" he says"10 min limit,...customers only" Wow..... we went to lake city were nobody was scared to let us park in there lot and spend money. Maybe Nelson Discount liquors should just erect a sign that says" no bikers" cuz that's the signal we picked up.

One of the outstanding wine merchants in the area, Nelson Discount Liquor's owner, Bob and his sidekick lab "Boss" offer an assortment of wines, beers and liquor. But pay attention to Bob's specials. He has a nose and palate for both reds and whites, from Spain to Argentina to Napa its easy to say he has no competition in the area.  And he is reasonable, most good wines between 8 and 12 dollars, and they are good.  Get there quick.
