Story

At Neshaminy Montessori, young children flourish in a creative environment that taps their deepest curiosity for learning.

Our innovative program combines the core tenets of Dr. Maria Montessori’s educational method with cutting-edge activities in technology, art, music and movement. Through group and individualized exploration, our students blossom into outstanding learners who inspire each other with their passion for discovery. They grow into strong leaders and engaged citizens of the world.

The Montessori Method, embraced by schools across the globe since the early 1900s, is widely praised for combining common sense wisdom with an ordered approach.

Dr. Maria Montessori’s work focused on young children’s powerful ability to absorb information through exploration using all of their senses. From her findings, Dr. Montessori developed sensorial didactic materials that cultivate a child’s natural sense of wonder and curiosity. The Montessori curriculum is dedicated to five areas of learning: math, science, practical life, language and sensorial.

At Neshaminy Montessori, our educators offer an academic experience combined with social, emotional, physical and intellectual challenges that foster the whole child. The Montessori teacher’s role is that of a facilitator, mentor and friend.
