This "doctor" had the nerve to come into muy hospital room for a neurology consult and without asking questions, without doing an assessment, without mri or ct scan or any other imaging, told me my symptoms were all in my head, "psychological" us what he said exactly and recommended I see a psychiatrist. Well it's a good thing I received a 2nd opinion bc my "psychological" problem wound up being multiple sclerosis. My symptoms wound up being real and I am getting treated. This man is no doctor, I do believe that's all in his head!

Quack, quack, quack! I went to him for constant nerve pain, most especially in my head. I wish I would have read the previous review before I went because my experience was so similar to theirs! He did nothing! Once he asked a list of my medications he stated most authoritatively that was the problem. He did no tests, ran no CAT scan, did no examination, NOTHING! Did not even request any records from my other doctors. This quack needs to retire before someone dies because of his carelessness!

To start off I almost don't even know where to begin. I went to his office this morning early for the first time to see him for an ongoing seizure problem. i'm disabled due to epilepsy from a head injury. well i get to his office to hand his receptionist my medical records from my old neurologist from where i had moved from and it also had my medical records and case finding from my disability lawyer they looked at it and told me whats this we no help you get disability and made a scene of it made me feel like a fool i had to explain to the lady that spoke broken English ten times in front of everyone there that i was already on disability that i dont need anyone to prove whether i need it or not like she was saying. I did not show my anger right then but just walked out since i was early for my apointment. showed up for apointment waited 1 1/2 hours in the lobby seen the doctor on phone the told me the specialize in epilepsy but i get here and he tells me it is not really his kind of thing. then he asks me questions like where you abused as a child. this doctor is a croc never goin back. BTW say lawyer even if youre not threatening him with one he gets scared so does everyone else there

I recently visited Dr. Hooshmand for complications with my fibromyalgia (a condition i have seen dozens of doctors and specialist for and has been diagnosed over and over.) He told me that my constant pain and inability to control my muscles and appendages at times was just me being to sensitive. He had to ask me what fibromyalgia was and when i told him he replied that he "didn't really buy into that whole thing" and that my "mother cared too much about me." He then tried to talk me into getting and paying for an MRI even though he believed there was nothing wrong and that years of pain, endomitosis, and dozens of doctors were figments of my imagination. Dr. Hooshmand was rude, self important, not clear, and spoke english poorly (to the point that it was hard to make out what he was saying unless he was insulting me.) I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. If doctors just start believing some diseases aren't real because they don't understand them and then treat the patients badly because they can't grasp the situation then why are medical degrees or specialists needed. Don't go here unless you feel like being talked down to by a man who doesn't grasp language or medicine all that well.
