Very nice library.  Great book selection for adults and kids!  Also, video rentals.  My kids love the craft table they have!!  Would highly recommend this library.

I was in New Berlin, NY today on business. I found myself in a situation where I needed to be able to print an email. So I went to the New Berlin library and asked if I might be able to print an email. They told me that only if I have a library card in the Multi County area. I told them I was from Oneonta  and that I was not sure if that one time perhaps I had a library card. They looked my name up in the system and they informed me that I owed $55 in books that they claim were not returned to the Oneonta NY library back in 2004. Yes 2004! Because I supposedly owed this money from 13 years ago they were unwilling to help a traveler in need print a three page PDF from an email. They actually turned me away, even though I was willing to pay for the printing.  They left me in a real bind. 

 While the library was unhelpful, I was fortunate to find an insurance company in town called Gates Cole insurance which was more than happy to help. They gladly printed my email attachment so that I could do the business I was in new Berlin to do. I offered to pay for those three pages they printed but they said paying them for copies was not necessary. I am grateful for Gates Cole and their professionalism. They really saved the day for me after my horrible experience at the library.
