This may be one of the most corrupt courts in the country. The latest news they let a black teenager do 6 mo in residential program for killing another black teenager in HS. How can this be possible? Most black employees here are rude and treat people with complete disrespect. I even remember this black woman worker screaming at people, are they afraid to fire people like her? Others appear oblivious, and wish you could just go away. Very few helpful and nice workers. Also, you pretty much don't see Hispanics or Asians working here. How can all this happen at the taxpayer's dime? Also, parking will cost you. The area is also one of the most dangerous, especially after dark. Avoid this court if you can.

All of them are rude not only black staff!!!! i'm a woman of certain age , I  never broken the law in my entire life.However by the time I left this place I'd been treated as if I was public enemy #1!!! could not believe the disrespect and level of rudeness its terrible, I FEEL SO SORRY FOR ANYONE WHO HAS BROKEN THE LAW AND HAS TO GO THREW THIS SYSTEM GOD HELP THEM!!!!!!!!!!

If you are trying to help a child survive the life of parents on drugs you are at the wrong court house.  I had started my file September 2014 and I  still am not granted guardianship even though I have had them since birth.  The family court system is not helpful and they make sure you go through all the steps to fill out paper work that is not even needed and then tell you the wrong forms are filled out.  Who ever Barbara Crowell is or if she is even a real person, everything I filed gets denied with no reference or explanation.  I had arbitration with Ms. Wilson who promised in two weeks I would have an answer, the clerk told me today that was a lie.  The arbitration schedule was never sent out from the court to the parent or myself.  I had to call and get a date then pass onto the parents.  They don't know why, they sent me papers that were private for the parents of the child.  And now today I am told that I have to be patient and wait another 90 days because that's the family courts process.  The judge has to look at the file.  Ok three years later, is there a real judge in family court.  Yes I am upset with this system.  How many children are lost in this system.

There is no point in showing up to the courthouse before nine AM since they will not open the exterior doors before then. Easy bus access, parking is about 10 bucks for all day (over 90 mins). Don't bring your cellphone or anything knife like. The bathrooms are clean. The information desk is right beyond the security screening area they are very helpful.
