I love this place .  The flowers are vibrant, live longer than other flowers I have purchased from other shops, and service is second to none.  Rene, the owner is a really nice guy and always comes through with great product.  I come from Suffern to New City to buy my flowers.  You won't be disappointed.

I love this place because of the following reasons:
) They have a beautiful large selection
) Price is very reasonable 
) Their flowers are always fresh unlike other places
) Their flowers hold up for the longest time
) They always deliver on time.

If you are in the New City area searching for beautiful flowers, I recommend Bassett Flowers & Gifts, or The Flower Shoppe. New City Florist are not a good florist shop AT ALL. Prices are over the head, flowers looked like they were dying. My roses were brown and crippled around the petals edges. Spoke to a woman on the phone to purchase an order for my daughters back on Valentines Day, she was awful & rude. I had to keep repeating what I said because she rushed me, I asked for her name and I believed she said Alice/ Ally (?). The owner is a decent guy, but the wife is terrible. She was a nasty woman when I spoke to her in person for pickup. Gave me the complete and unprofessional cold shoulder. She is partly the reason I will NEVER spend my money here again. If your looking for a decent place, with decent flowers & decent servie= SEARCH somewhere else!! To save your money & time.

Ive visited the store on 5/30 customer service was very freindly arrangement of my order was done as ordered paid attention to each detail of my questions ive had the flowers after all set and done was stuning i would recommend this place .

I got my corsage from here for prom. Cheaper than other stores, staff was friendly when I called to order, and service was fast when I came to pick it up.
