I work around this area and I usually walk by this Chinese restaurant on a daily basis so I decided to finally give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The Pepper Steak Combo is pretty good, plenty of meat, green peppers and onions. It comes with a standard yellow fried rice and an egg roll. It only took 5-10 minutes for the order to be ready. Although the inside needs a bit of spicing up it is still a pretty clean and spacious area to eat in. I really want to mention the owners as well. They’re your local ma and pa, grandma and grandpa that are very kind and patient and always try to get your order right. I would definitely come back again during lunch!
Uniquely designed as if you are sitting in an outdoor Japanese Market...the foods are authentic and plain delicious! The 2nd floor Arcade is a definite plus!
Amazing food for a easy price. I got the sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice. Both were amazing and took not even 10 mins to make. The people that own it are really kind as well 10/10
Can’t comment on the other menu items, but these are the BEST Chinese Chicken wings I’ve ever had.
I really hate giving bad reviews, but I can't give a good one here. The food was terrible. Everything I had tasted off. The sauce I had with my Sesame Chicken was basically water which also leaked out of the container really badly, and the Crab Rangoon just tasted like it was really old It was like the filling had been expired for a month and pumped into an over-fried, chewy shell. The people working took about 5 minutes to get to me, despite me being the only person in the restaurant, because they were busy watching a movie. I'd stick to the other restaurants around Main Street downtown.
I’ve gotten takeout here for lunch several times and never had a bad experience. It’s a good value, I used to alternate Chinese and Mighty Taco for a filling and fast lunch. The employees also sweep up the street in front of the store in the evenings.
Please do not eat here. Their food is disgusting. I ordered the chicken lo mein and what i got was a bland, undercooked mess. The chicken in the lo mein was undercooked, near raw. The ther ingredients included iceberg lettuce, onions a few of which had black specs AKA mold, and green squash, all if which were just as undercooked and crunchy. I ate a few bites and threw it right in the trash. I wasted the 9$ that the "food" cost and was not able to make it to work the next day because I spent the entire day in the bathroom. Again do your health a favor do not order from here.
Terrible food has really gone downhill still trying to pass off spaghetti as lomein. Really wanted to like it couldn't do it, fried dumplings burnt, fried wonton OK, lo mein terrible veggies undercooked shrimp freezer burned. Threw most of order out. I'm sorry to say I won't be ordering ever again
I ordered this through postmates, complete waste of my money. My order was missing half of my order items- the restaurant claimed they were out of white rice somehow and said nothing about the other missing items--and charged me for my full order, which again, I did not receive. Within ten minutes of attempting to eat the general tso chicken my partner started getting sick, the chicken was barely cooked, soggy, and absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER be ordering from here again and will make sure my friends don't either. If you're considering this restaurant, I beg you to save your health and your money and get your Chinese from somewhere else. My next move is contacting the Better Business Bureau and Health Department.
To start off... The number is actually 855-8888 in case you want to order . This place looks like a total and complete dump, Inside and out. It's pretty gross. However, I LOVE the food. I really do. I am a vegetarian so I always get vegetable dishes. The vegetables a crisp and not over cooked. The sauce is so flavorful and delicious. I find that most chinese restaurants cook the hell out of their food until it's soggy, then put it in some soy/ cornstarch/ water mix and call it a meal. Dragon Express may look scary but you should totally give it a shot. and there's an awesome martial arts place right next door so you can go kick all those calorie's asses right after .
