Overall a great experience! The octopus was the highlight of our trip - he was super active while we were there. Gift shop had a nice selection of items and all of the staff were super friendly. Giving it 4 stars because honestly it’s kind of a small aquarium compared to others I’ve been to. Lots of walking to each floor for not a ton of exhibits especially the top floor. Nearby parking a garage is super close at least and not too long of a walk.
AWESOME experience. The big tank in the middle is the best attraction. They have huge sea turtles and so many kinds of fish. It was really cool to see scuba divers feeding the fish and the tank. 2 down sides: We didn't find Nemo did find Dory though We wish there was a nibble tank like most aquariums have. Great experience overall. The staff were very nice and the cafe had options.
Awesome place! Highly recommend coming as early as you can and see the penguins during feeding time! You can spend an hour or two, and then grab lunch at one of the many dockside restaurants in the area. The variety of wildlife is awesome to see. This is a smaller aquarium but there’s a lot to see. We finished the whole thing in about an hour. The large aquarium in the center of the building is beautiful and offers an ever-changing view of the fish and marine life inside. There are no signs directing you where to go so it’s kind of a confusing free-for-all at first. But if you walk in and go right, you will eventually see everything. There are no sharks. Or if there are, we didn’t see them again with the lack of signage or direction. If you have kids, this is a good place to stop through while in Boston.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was amazed at how clean and well-maintained the entire facility was. Kudos to the staff for keeping everything in such pristine condition. Small aquarium, but very beautiful. There are penguins, fish, sea stars, sea lions, and more! Very beautiful but a bit busy. It's not a must see if you've been to any other aquarium from a major city but it is definitely very fun.
The aquarium was pretty cool it was well staffed I did enjoy myself it was really small. You can do the tickets at the ticket booth or you can scan from your phone. The wait wasn't too long it was on a weekday but at the same time I didn't know that kids were out of school so it was really crowded. I enjoyed all the animals that were out. I am one that visits different states and loves to see how their aquarium is, this one was average but definitely well staffed to make sure the animals stay safe and the kids stayed safe as well.
The first time I came to this place I was about 14 years old and I know this place had more animals to see. I remember we when downstairs and walk to the other side to get back upstairs wild we see all the animals. It is less now. This time I when with my kids and we first when to the so call movie. The ticket for the movie was about the same price of the tickets from the movie theaters but this so called movie was 20 mins. Yea it is 3D but the price is crazy and the price for the parking too. I had a good time because I was with my kids and they enjoyed. That’s all it matters.
A great little excursion in Boston. Lots of fun to walk the spiral walkway around the big tank to see all the different marine life. It didn’t take too long to see everything, about 1.5 hours. It’s easy to get to the aquarium. There is a dedicated stop for the aquarium on the Blue Line.
Had such a fun time at the aquarium! Visited with my friends and had a great time. Lynn from the gift shop was wonderful and so sweet. She was lovely to talk to and made our experience even better! 10/10 recommendVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
