Excellent local eatery/mini market! Local meats and produce, a great spice selection and some other dry goods down stairs. Main level is a sandwich counter and brick-oven pizzeria.  Also a wide selection of beers and wines, and a small area to sit down. Coffee and tea is also on offer. Delicious food!

Everything is made from scratch. Wonderful craft beer selection and prices. This gem feels like it should be in Cambridge MA!

The New Gloucester Village Store (my daughter's call it 'Sam's' because of how kind the owner is to them) is the finest establishment of its kind in the region.  It carries local meats, cheeses and dairy products and uses them in its fresh and delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menus.  The great wood-fire brick oven in the corner keeps us all warm in the winter, and they're ready to sell me a pizza or a pound of their fresh mozzarella when I'm making my own.  The staff are invariably kind to me, and to my family.  I hope to be having the corned beef hash (made on premises from local ingredients) as late morning vacation breakfast for years to come.

Wonderful, little gem in the country...brick oven pizza, fabulous breakfast and homemade breads. Local cheeses, veggies and dairy products not to mention their array of international wines and local beers. Friendly staff and great environment!
