New, clean and modern decor! The beer is good as always and the service was great for opening day. Food trucks to feed the hungry. Cheers to many years of success!
Very happy to welcome New Image to Wheat Ridge! Those who have visited the Olde Town Arvada location will be familiar with the contemporary hazies, BA stout, kettle sours craft beer, full bar and small yummy food menu. This location has a fire code capacity of 70 inside and a small patio with about 25 seats. Dogs are welcome on the patio and kids are happy to roam the whole place. There is a parking lot and easy neighborhood parking nearby. If you're reading this from the parking lot of Anderson park, you should just walk on over. The permanent pizza food trailer out front has a wood fired oven and perhaps the best pizza west of LoHi if you dig neopolitan pie. Nothing on the menu is labeled as vegan or gluten free, but the pies are made to order and the dudes in the trailer are cool. I'm including some photos of the current menus. Obviously these will change with time but should give you an idea of what this place is about.
The service was underwhelming. There were only 2 people managing the bar and one person doing the pizza truck. Which should have been enough for the customers present <20 ppl over 2.5hrs. But they underdelivered in many ways. They blatantly served my friend the wrong beer without admitting so, after we questioned them about it. They forgot the pizza we ordered and didn't admit that they forgot it for over an hour. We had to remind them 3 times about the pizza because our friends that ordered two pizzas 15min after us got theirs 20min before ours. The $16 pizza was kind of boring and barely fed two people. They kept disappearing into the refrigerator room like a scene from Waiting. It's a shame because the place had good promise and I would like to support the local brewery, but the staff was not very attentive or honest. They should own up to their mistakes. Especially because we brought a birthday party-sized group ofPatrons to the venue, more than half of the clientele for the night.
Pizza was great! Crust was thin, and crisp, with a soft center..and we both really enjoyed our beers..staff was super friendly, it's a great neighborhood spot! .....recommend Forsure... Also,a plus...They're dog Friendly
This place is so great! What a hidden gem. My husband got the beer and I got the kombucha with the garlic bread and everything was super reasonably priced and excellent quality. Space for dogs to sit outside and overall a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back after a visit to Prospect Park!
Loved the beer here, and the pizza was very good too. Also liked the staff and the decor. It would be helpful if they could improve their parking situation. 1. there are signs up in some spots reserving them for some auto shop - it's not clear whether that business still exists or the signs are out of date. 2. this brewery is only one block off the Clear Creek Trail, so it is very easy to get there by bike. But there are no bike racks here, and myself and other people coming on bike had to lean our bikes up on a chain link fence with nothing to lock them to securely. Fix those things and this place is perfect!
Really great beer and daily specials. I love the modern and clean space in the taproom. REAGAN is an angel- thank you so much for the amazing service, you are killing it! Some feedback for management: Unclear if that particular food truck is a permanent staple… if so, the staff needs a legit overhaul. They clearly don’t care about their jobs and it was painful to watch how difficult they made dinner service for your staff. They are super slow and extremely rude. A pager system that allows customers to pick up their own food at the window would be awesome!
Awesome staff. Love the beer and good pizza. Only downside is that there are no bike racks but they just opened so hopefully they’ll get some soon. The bad reviews about children are absurd, if you bring kids just bring them something to play with so they aren’t terrorizing patrons and if feel like a BREWERY isn’t “kid friendly” enough come back in 20 years when they are old enough to drink beer!
I like to try new places especially in our 'hood, so we did. We were pleasantly surprised that the beer we chose was very good, but thats where the good news ends, we ordered a very simple pizza from their menu, & then waited more than an hour for it to arrive, even after asking several different people about its possible arrival., no one was the least bit helpful, also we noticed people who ordered quite awhile after us got their orders before us. After reminding several people that we hadn't received our order, it finally arrived, & it was the WORST pizza I have ever had the misfortune to take a bite of, really nasty I personally would have left on the table, but my husband wanted to take it home to give to the dogs, I will not poison them with that terrible stuff. So even though the beer was good there is plenty of good beer to be found elsewhere we will never go back there based on the SUBPAR Service & the incredibly bad food.
The beer, food, and atmosphere was great. Will definitely visit again when I come back to Colorado!
