I have been going to the spinal center for almost 2 years. Dr Lipp is such an awesome professional. The office staff is wonderful. I eventually had to have surgery after various treatment options. Dr Allapatt was excellent! I would recommend these specialist to anyone in need of treatment or surgery.

AMAZING PHYSICIANS!!! Horrible and inconsistent office staff. When you're there in the office they're all kind and helpful but if you ever call they barely answer and there's no sense of urgency until you ask for a manager. I went 2 months with numb legs because someone didn't have my MRI authorization put in.

A complete and utter waste of my time and money. I waited 2 hours, took half a day PTO from work to be dismissed by a condescending doctor, Matthew Lipp. I initially made my appointment with Dr. Brett Gerstman, not even told I wouldn't be seeing him. All that for 7 minutes for a doctor to tell me he can't help me. It was topped off by a receptionist, black woman's attitude. Highly suggest going elsewhere.

I first saw Dr. Alapatt with significant left arm weakness and numbness. I couldn't straighten my arm overhead. I am a 30 year old healthy female, no prior injuries, and I was really scared. Dr. Alapatt took his time, reviewed my MRI with me, and discussed all possible options. Since I had exhausted all conservative methods (PT, traction, steroid pack/antiinflammatories), we scheduled surgery for the following week. Although he told me all of the possible risks, he reassured me that I was statistically a great candidate for a cervical disc replacement. And he was right! I woke up from surgery with better sensation and the instant ability to engage my triceps. I have been PAIN FREE since coming home from the surgical center and I've never had to open my pain medication. I'm now 6 weeks post-op; I'm slowly returning to the gym and I've been cleared to return to work. Dr. Alapatt gave this all back to me! I would also like to add that Dr. Alapatt (and his staff) have been very attentive before and after my surgery. He answered all of my husband's and parents' questions in pre-op and recovery, and laid out a very specific post-op plan of care for me. It was a really scary event in my life, but I always, and continue to feel safe in his care.

The best Doctor's ever!!! I had done my research and ahd discounted many orthopedic practices for this one who concentrated on back and neck problems. They are all very caring, explaining every step of a procedure to you before it happens. I had injections in my low back before the surgery and Dr Gertsman makes you feel SO comfortable! A little casual chit chat during the procedure helped relax me a lot! When they didn't work, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ken Reiger. We scheduled the surgery after I filled out all the necessary forms. The day of surgery, Dr Reiger greeted me in the pre-op area reassuring me. Next I met the Anesthesiologist and next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery. No problems or complications. Two and a half days later, I was home in my apartment . I got out walking everyday and within two weeks I could tie my own shoes! I kept walking because I felt it REALLY helped to relieve any discomfort I was having. Pain killers were gone in 8 weeks, getting up and starting to get back to my pretty much regular routine with the aid of my grabber that my sons bought for me... the recovery was really easy. The no driving for two weeks was the hardest part! I just wanted to get out more and do more as the weeks went by!!! Now, at almost a year post-op, I am going about my life pain free, hiking, walking and riding my bike for as long as I would like with no restrictions! Don't wait!!
