Came here today, unfortunately I had to leave during the preaching. Great clean/nice building. The music was awesome! I myself play bass at a church of Christ church in California and I must say the drummer and bassist were locked in! You could tell they love what they do. The people were very nice and friendly. Just happen to find this church off of the highway. My wife and I will be back if we are ever back in Texas.

Worship music and song are always great, building very nice and always clean, friendly people, sermons are encouraging, HOWEVER, I AM VERY UNHAPPY that this and most Pentecostal ministers refuse to consistently read/feed the people/sheep with Sunday weekly readings/passages/parables of the Words of Christ from the Gospels of John, Matthew, Luke & Mark, and from the Epistles that TEACH the new believers what to do. This is what builds faith, not 'pep rally's. If all people had the word of God in their head and heart, many would not choose to sin and our world would be a more peaceful and orderly community. Man's word is much less powerful (minister's sermon) than God's Word, which is precisely why the scripture's teach us to 'reading of the word' and if you love me 'feed (teach my ways) my sheep/people'. The Roman Catholic church does not teach being born again by calling on the Lord in a personal confession, BUT they read the people the words of God in 3 lengthy passage readings, which builds faith and good ways of loving others.

I dedicated my life to God in this church. It is a place of healing and a refuge for the broken and down trodden. My son has Down Syndrome and the church provides a support group for families who have differently abled children or adults. The preaching, teaching, music/worship, and prayer is powerful and encouraging. The church encourages a personal, daily walk with the Lord. And provides several times of prayer during the week. Sunday evening at 6PM, Wed at 7PM, a Ladies Prayer Group on Tues at 9AM, House to House prayer, and All Church Prayer.

It's in awesome move of the Holy Spirit, I thank God for letting his spirit move.

I can only say that I've been Blessed attending New Life. I recieved the Holy Spirit and I look forward to where it is going.
