No longer in service. When I went there it was all locked and it looked like an abandoned house. I knew that it was a house museum but i didn't expect it to be closed.

The guided tours at the New Orleans African American Museum was very informative. I learned some new history about slavery. The museum artifacts are very unique. I really enjoyed the Treme Walking Tour. We saw the film locations of HBO TV Series Treme. Treme is the oldest Black neighborhood in the United States.
