Worth $5 but I'd hesitate to call it a museum. It's a cramped stuffy couple of rooms where not very many people can fit. If there are more than 10 people at once you'll be pretty squished. It was very interesting though. It has pretty good information on Voodoo so if you're interested in the religion it's a must. Not a complaint against the museum but I find it weird that people throw a bunch of garbage on the alters. There were business cards, condoms, cigarettes and various other stupid things placed on the alters. Is that common among Voodoo alters? Seems disrespectful to me.

The museum is among the most curious I have seen in my life, it is a must seen if you visit that town. I asked to the owner of the museum if he knew a woodoo priest and he told that he was priest. I asked him if he could help me to success in my life and he put a liquid on my face and hands and made me repeat some words. I asked him how much I had to pay him and he said it was free. He was very nice with me. I really appreciate that kind of persons.

I enjoyed this place. It's very small, only a few rooms but it's definitely worth the $5 to check out. It's a quick visit. I spent out 30 minutes here.

Today it was $5 dollars to get in day. So, we paid our $5 bucks and checked out the Voodoo Museum. It is two rooms of curios, voodoo dolls and some interesting history. I wish this place had a bigger space to display all of it's curios, old paintings, altars and dolls, because this part of Afro-Carribiean culture is somewhat lost in the history books. Pay your respects and don't "make fun" of anything as this was and still is a practiced religion. Anyway, its fun and worth the stop.

Very small, but worth it for the price!!! Chock full of of information and altars to honor goddesses, gods, saints, erzulies, etc. Had a lot of fun learning! Would definitely recommend for the experience.
