This is the place to go when your sweet tooth needs pacifying! House baked amazing cookies and breads of every kind. Don't miss the light pumpernickel (aka polish rye) for the best toast you'll ever eat. These are also the best angel wings you can find... Light, airy, crumbly and loaded with powdered sugar. Buy cookies by the pound and get your orders in early for paczi day. Expect a long wait on weekend mornings.

WOW, spent $38.00 on Saturday, March 3 on Cherry Cheesecake and Cherry Nut coffee cake, both were old and dry.   Maybe it is because they sit in the window, or it could be that no one but the elderly visit this establishment to purchase bread.   I do not recommend this bakery any longer.   They should be ashamed to sell old product.   The Cherry Cheesecake was so dry it was like eating sawdust.   Too bad that I did not realize that prior to purchasing this item for someone.   What a  complete disappointment.

This place is legendary. Just go there. I'm pretty sure I have had at least one of everything they make here... Nothing has ever disappointed.

I'm going to be truthfully honest. I've been going to this store since 2009 and have never had any problems. Last year I walked into the bakery with my son and a new woman was working there. She kept letting people go in front of me even though I was first in line. I was polite about it until I got fed up and said "Excuse me I would like a few donuts for my son and I." The woman turned her face to the side as if pretending not to hear me. After standing in front of her for 10 minutes I walked off saying "Come on son this woman clearly does not want us in here." My son cried eyes out. She didn't want us in the store because we were African Americans, she only wanted to tend to Polish people. After last year I never step foot in this bakery again.

Great breads and other baked goods. Stop in before work to pick something up for the crew or before a holiday to bring home some perfect dinner rolls or dessert breads.
