The food at New York Gyro is simply outstanding. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that transported me to the bustling streets of New York City. Whether I was indulging in a classic gyro, savoring a falafel wrap, or devouring a platter of perfectly grilled kebabs, every dish was a delight for my taste buds.  What truly made my visit memorable was the owner's warm and welcoming presence. Their genuine kindness and hospitality made me feel like a cherished guest, not just a customer. It's rare to find such a combination of delicious food, cultural immersion, and heartfelt hospitality in one place, but New York Gyro has it all. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it's a place to create lasting memories and savor every moment.

We order 2 gyros with extra black olives which we got but no meet except 6 little peces,  not sure why? Because We never had a bad experience until today.

Food is fresh delicious and it is a great portion for the price. Don’t listen to the reviewers just go and try it! I got the chicken and lamb platter.  For other reviewers I got a platter hence the “few” fries it’s a platter not a size large fries. If you want fries order a side order. Also people who complained about the salad it’s suppose to be mixed in so you get all the flavors in a bite. You can get that on the side too. Great job NY gyro I will be back.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. Best gyro spot in town until Covid hit. Since then everything about this place is hit or miss. From the employees attitudes down to the food.  You could have one of the best lamb gyros one day. The next you’re having the worst gyro ever, with crunchy lamb meat, old lettuce, and meat so burnt you can’t even bite it.  Oh… almost forgot the cherry on top, if you’re a picky eater or want special instructions don’t eat here… they only listen 20% of the time. It’s hit or miss… Just like everything else.

The customer service is just horrible buddy at the front desk always have a bad attitude second dont order and go sit in the car while they make the food cause he will not start making the food until you are in the restaurant standing here waitingFood: 4/5

I’m not happy. I placed an order through Uber eats and put specific notes to our sauce on side because I wasn’t sure if it would be too spicy. I received it cold and with the sauces all mixed up in the food. It’s too spicy to eat and now I have to waste this food. I contacted Uber eats and they couldn’t do anything about it, tried to call restaurant but it just rang. So I spent $40 and Uber eats won’t refund me and now I don’t have dinner.

The place is clean and has good seating. Only street parallel parking, if you got lucky. The food was okay but their spl hot sauce is delicious.

Let me just say I've been waiting for them to reopen and my oh my they did not disappoint!! The food was fresh as ever its so clean inside & very spacious now the music  playing was definitely a great touch as well. Carlos is awesome I absolutely  love his hospitality and nikki sorry if im misspelling it but nikki was so sweet and made sure to give me everything i wanted which is always a plus its rare when cooks can follow cooking directions on a steak but yes baby girl did her thing with it, if i could give them 10 stars i would. I recommend everyone to stop by and get yourself some platters I promise you wont be disappointed.

Definetly eat here! The owner Afra “spelled wrong sorry” was amazing he even gave one of the customers you could see was starving with no money a free meal.  Not to mention food was some of the best chicken over rice halal I’ve had.Food: 5/5
