Great while it existed, but unfortunately it burned down last winter :(

This is the sort of place where adventure stories or magic begin. Something out-of-time about the atmosphere. The pizza, Caesar salad and desserts looked positively come-hither elegant, and tasted incomparably delicious. I could have sampled everything in the deli case and died happy, no question.

If you are one Rt 30, you gotta stop there. I regularly get the Thanksgiving, the Silver Back, and their fries. Nice clean deli/restaurant inside, picnic tables outside, and the in-house gelato is great too. Good rotation of flavors, 4 at a time I think. Much nicer than I expected, and now I bring all my friends from outta state. It's their favorite part of Vt!

If you're in Southern VT on the Tourist Trail on Route 30 yore gotta stop at this Delightful NE Village Green, the prettiest in VT, and don't forget to taste everything in the Newfane Cafe & Ice Creamery, no matter what day it is, I suggest you try their Ice Cream Sundays, on any day, there fantastic.
