When Chef John and Sandy Newman purchased Pulucci's restaurant in 2005, they combined Chef John's French training and experience with Pulucci's Italian cuisine. The result was Newmans at 988 which opened in February 2006, offering French/Italian cuisine and featuring the best products Oregon and the Pacific Northwest have to offer.
The idea of "fine dining in an intimate setting" came about as we compared Cannon Beach to the coastal European villages of Menton, France and Varazze, Italy. With white tablecloths and fresh roses on each table, we are perfect for special occasions.
Located at 988 South Hemlock in Cannon Beach, we are a small establishment with only ten tables which can accommodate 24 to 30 people. We also offer private dining for up to 16. Come dine with us Tuesday through Sunday between the hours of 5:30 and 9:00 p.m. We are also open on Mondays between July 1 and October 15.
