City Hall in Newport RI is friendly and suggested that I visit Westerly RI for the day. I also went to the tax assessor's office or other city records to see about my cousins who are in town. City Hall is conveniently located. Newport is a very walkable town, the downtown section is. I have alot of fond memories visiting my grandmother who lived here until 1984 when she relocated to live closer to us.
