Was moving from one home to another so while in transition we used Next Door Storage in Silvis. We kept some items there for about 2 months and had no issues until we recently moved everything out. On March 10th we completely moved everything out of the unit and I went in and spoke with the lady at the front desk and signed to end my lease. I had already paid a full months rent for March so asked if I would be receiving a prorated refunded for the time I had paid for but would not be needing after all. I was told yes I would recieve a final email within a few days bring it was the weekend. I called today 9 days after we have completely moved out and was told no we would not be getting a refund because it was after the 5th of month and the time we paid for after the 5th is for us to move out, which doesn’t make much sense because we are already completely moved out and have signed off on the lease. Doesn’t seem fair that I paid for 31 days of storage and only used 10, not even half of the month, and next door will not issue some sort of refund. I will look elsewhere for storage next time and encourage others I know to do so as well.

I have used this storage company a couple of times now and what i like the most about Next Door Storage is they are a month to month contract no lease no hasle of long contracts. I give 4 stars cause they do make you buy one of their locks but the lock is yours afterwords. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Stacey was excellent to work with. She was friendly, informative and helpful. She even went out of her way to call other locations about what sizes they may have available. Then she gave me directions and contact information to go look at another location but ultimately I came back to Stacey and rented a unit form her.

Next Door Self Storage in Silvis, Illinois is a great place to use for storing items you don't have room for or to keep your belongings while you're in between homes.

When my mom passed away, I had things stored at her house and also the things she wanted me to have.  I live in a one bedroom apartment and don't have room for anything.  Next Door Self Storage was my choice for putting my extra furniture and the things I don't have room for right now.

I would choose them again if I needed to store anything!  They're great!!!

The lady working at the office helped us find the right size to store our belongings. She was very helpful and got us a great deal!
