NHK abandoned the job and did not complete the work after receiving three fourths of the payment I paid upfront, which was $10,500 for a gut-renovation of the house I purchased. 

 They failed to pass rough inspection and refused to complete the work in a timely fashion even when I sent them a demand letter.

I have pictures and documentation to prove this. 

 My husband is 85 years old and I am 63 years old. We belong to a generation that trust people, especially when they are people of color like us. That was a big mistake.  My husband and I are simple folks - we are retired college teachers from a small town in North Carolina and these are our hard earned savings.  

We feel our trust was violated.

We just moved into a new commercial property in Boston and needed some electrical work done. I called 6 different electricians and only two of them got back to me. NHK answered their phone on the second ring and came and gave me an estimate the same day. I was in a rush to get the work done and they agreed to come back and complete the work the next day. They ran into some unexpected issues because it was an old building and ran out of time the first day. They returned first thing the next day and completed the job on a Saturday.

After dealing with many contractors over the last couple of months, these guys really stand out. They were on time, quick, neat, and very friendly. This is a third generation family business that clearly cares about their reputation. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

I almost forgot, they were also very reasonably priced, and added an extra outlet that wasn't in the proposal for no extra cost.
