Nick's has been my favorite since I was a kid, now I bring my own kid there. The fried food is never oily and greasy, it's perfect. The lobster roll is massive and I love their steak sandwich. Open grilled burgers, dogs, etc. Amazing food and such friendly staff.

Right off 91 on exit 8. Great place for some foot long Hot Dogs. Can't go wrong with these. Reasonably priced. Also had some fries and onion rings both were great! I bet their other fried food is good too. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves a good hot dog and some fried food.

We were three adults for dinner and ordered the seafood platter.  So much food we had trouble finishing.   White fish, clams, calamari, shrimp, scallops, onion rings, fries, coleslaw...It was a feast that we thoroughly enjoyed!  Great service. Reasonable price.Food: 5/5

Ive been going to Nicks since i was a kid in the 1980s, and its still  a great place to eat. The chili dog, fried scallops, lobster roll...all were delicious and cooked perfect. they even havea delicious rice pudding you can get for dessert!

Initially found this location to try their lobster roll. I read in the reviews that this is one of the best spots in the area to find one.  I ordered the lobster roll, lobster bisque, steak sandwich, fish sandwich, hamburger with sweet potato fries and a strawberry milkshake for the family.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal although a few mentioned it was a bit too greasy for them. Of all the menu items we ordered, I was overall surprisingly impressed with the lobster bisque!  You will find lobster...yes lobster in the lobster bisque! I want to confirm also that the size of the lobster roll is more than expected so I was pleased with the value I received.  I did request a few slices of lemon to go with my lobster roll which is a must for me when enjoying my favorite seafood.  If Nick's Char Pit can make their lobster roll a bit healthier, I will be back!  Great job to the whole staff yesterday 11/26/22!

Food is always good. Best fried clam strips & chowder. Even if you just want a burger or hot dog they're great & fast. Much better than greasy fast food that will give you heartburn. Staff is friendly  Parking: A Lot of parking

Always loved  nicks charpit been going there for years .but very disappointed last visit onion rings tasted like fish must have been fried in the same oil they fry fish. I have a fish allergy so I’m glad I noticed it pretty quick . Also hamburgers were burnt and hot dog was raw.

The staff is very pleasant. Nice people. I'll have to visit again and maybe next time if I try something different I'll give more stars. I had a cheeseburger and to be totally honest for the price it was not worth it. My burger was not very big at all. I can say the taste was great. If you do get a burger from here make it a double. My company had the shrimp and because she's a seafood eater I'll have to take her word for it and say what she said which was it's average at best. Sorry for the low rating. I will try again!

Been going here for 30 years plus, same family owned place its always been.  From Hamburgers and Hotdogs to the freshest fried seafood anywhere.  This place has it all!

Very disappointed. The burger was burnt, no flavor. Onion rings, no flavor and breading pretty much non existent. The only good thing here was the grilled onions lol the seafood was not good either. Everything here is pretty much frozen and they don’t wear gloves. Wipe their noses and touch everything without washing, gross. Overpriced for mediocre terrible food. The only I saw that looked remotely good was their hotdogs and that’s it. Never coming here again. I can not BELIEVE they do not believe in seasoning!
