I sincerely need this place to stay open forever. There’s not much like it in Atlanta. Rotating menu food and drink driven by the farmers and the garden is chefs kiss. You leave the restaurant with a new favorite each time. Staff is unbelievably knowledgeable and you can just tell they care from a sincerity standpoint. Still to this day this place feels like a hidden gem in the middle of “west midtown” and I just had to sing some praise for Nick’s Westside.
Neat ambience and friendly service! The food was flavorful and well-presented, and the chef came out after the meal to ask how everything was. The menu also listed the local farms that the meals were sourced from, which I thought was a great addition. A great date night spot! Parking: Restaurant validated parking
The food was decent, the drinks weren’t great and the service was adequate. Not a stellar review and I don’t see us going back which is a bummer because the restaurant has potential. The food was just slightly off. For example, the fried green tomatoes were sooo thick and juicy but in a bad way that we took a bite and only a bite. The plate was covered in tomato juice. It was so messy. The chicken sandwich was decent but again, so messy that it was difficult to eat. The chef apparently only uses natural ingredients ? so he makes his own ketchup in house which was nothing like a ketchup at all and was quite bad. We were one of maybe 5 tables on a Friday night which is not a good sign. We actually thought they were closed when we walked in. The location is good so if they can do better with the food and drinks, then they have no reason they can’t succeed.
Went to last Nicks last Saturday for a date night and had a perfect experience from start to finish. The free valet parking was very convenient but they also offer self parking as well if you ask and they do validate parking. We enjoyed excellent service while trying some of their creative and delicious cocktails, wonderful appetizers, entrees, and dessert with a chef recommended aperitif. Everything we ate and drank was so tasty that we asked ourselves why we waited so long to come in! I love that they source local and seasonal ingredients for the freshest food possible and change the menu items accordingly! I also appreciated how casual yet upscale they feel at the same time. Even the burgers looked phenomenal. What a gem Nicks Westside is. We’re already planning our next visit.
Amazing!!!!! We were so reluctant when we sat down and looked at the menu. In fact we agreed to having an appetizer and drinks and we would say our goodbyes. However the appetizers were delicious and offered us the unique experience we were hoping for. So we ordered entrees! to be honest I was again hesitant when the plate was in front of me but when I put a little of every thing on my fork I experienced an explosion of yummy new flavors!! Now we are bourbon connoisseurs so a carrot bourbon with carrot juice couldn’t sound more weird but once again Nicks had a delightful surprise in store for us. The drink was FIRE!!!! I just can’t say enough about our night and how special this restaurant made our 5 year anniversary. P.S. the service was even better than the food and that’s a freaking high bar to surpass!!!
They cook with amazingly fresh ingredients and have super cute ambience. What can I say. I usually don’t like pies but the pecan pie was so so good. Their house made vanilla ice cream was so delicious they should make it a menu item.
All the food are great, except the cabbage puree taste bitter/burned, and I don’t like that flavor, the pork chop taste great. Hopefully can serve some bread before the meal will be great.Food: 4/5
Entrance is a bit hard to find. You park in a deck you can validate the parking and walk out on level P3 and you'll find the restaurant. Food pretty good and fun to share appetizers. I feel like a lot of the appetizers get reused as sides for the main entre so it's not as varied. Service was good and very attentive. I think my favourite sides were the fries, salmon tostada and corn. I was looking forward to having oysters but they didn't have it on the menu the time I came. This was alright though, the food was more than amazing and had good savory flavors. The short rib sandwich was my favorite entre. Don't have a picture of the sangria but it comes in a cute pouch. There's a sun room where we sat in and it was comfortable temperature.
Nick’s Westside has a great atmosphere! They also have the best burrata we have ever tasted. However, the menu overall fell a little short for us. The entree options were pretty limited. My boyfriend got the chicken dish, which was good but not amazing. I ordered the shrimp appetizer as my entree and was surprised at the small portion that cost $16. If we come again, we will try the burgers, which looked good at other people’s tables.
Amazing food, atmosphere, and service by Maddy! We got the fromage blanc fritters as an appetizer and the chicken paillard and westside burger as our entrees. Everything was delicious! I was especially surprised by the roasted butternut squash which came with the chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and had a great smoky flavor honestly the best thing I ate!. Also, make sure to get yourself a perfectly crafted cocktail. Can't wait to come back again. Their menu changes frequently so we are excited to try new things!
