We went here because Flat Iron was packed! on a Thursday. This place was not and the lighting in here is what lighting should be in every restaurant, warm and inviting. My friend ordered the filet mignon. I had some of it. Melt in your mouth perfect. I had the mussels, also excellent. The service was good with great wine suggestions. Food timing seemed right on, we weren't waiting and were enjoying conversation and a great night out.

Slow service and long waits to be expected. Came in at 5:15 and seated at 5:30pm with a party of 9 on Saturday evening. Food for 8 people came out between 6:45-7:00. They misplaced my order and didn't have my food for awhile. It took about half hour to write up the bill and compete the transaction. Service here is terrible and they have no accurate timing of things. The server stated 2 minutes which actually was just over 20 minutes. The food itself was average / mediocre. They serve the bread basket cold with olive oil in a small dish. They have balsamic vinegar but need to ask the server for it. Price point was a bit high for the simple meals that came out. Single occupancy washroom per gender. Parking lot is shared with multiple shops of the strip mall. Very small waiting area with narrow corridor. The good part is that they made my meal on the house. I will not come back nor would I recommend this place for groups or large parties. Maybe 1-2 persons would have a better experience.

This was our first time here. Staff was friendly. It was not crowded, yet we waited about 25 minutes for our soup and salad, then another 20 for our entrees. Minestrone was good. Antipasta was flavorful, but pricey for the portion. My risotto with chicken was pretty good, but lacked salt, and there was not only breast meat as stated in the menu, and it included mushrooms, which was not mentioned. Nice atmosphere.

I've attempted to eat here twice now.... each time I left disappointed, so I won't be coming back. The last time our wait was over an hour for our food, we had to ask for bread multiple times and would get 2 or 3 little under done slices in a big basket. We actually laughed at our service. Wrong drink orders. They don't have a champagne bucket to bring to you when you order a bottle. Not very good food, as my pancetta/bacon? (it was mostly fat anyways) was literally raw in my spaghetti carbonara. My boyfriend got pan fried chicken which was literally smashed frozen cutlets with barely a sear and doused in a nasty cream sauce. We wanted to support a local business, but after finding a black arm hair in my to go box I wouldn't suggest it. That's probably why the lights are so dim, so you can't see the food. Also the price point just wasn't there. I can see the owners are reaching but the quality of food wasn't worth the price. I like the location of the resturant? That's about it.
