Terrible! So unprofessional. I attended a memorial this past Saturday here and Instead of alleviating some of the pain this young man's family was experiencing by providing a thoughtful well-done memorial honoring their son, brother & father, Nie's Funeral Home piled more layers of pain and frustration on top of this family. The slide show had photos of strangers in it including what looked like a mug shot of some random person.  The three songs the family choose to share during the memorial sounded horrible, like they didn't know how to use the sound system.   Digital Slide shows and playing music through a speaker system is NOT new technology.  These are basic IT skills that all funeral homes should have mastered by now. The staff responsible for that ceremony should be ashamed of the service they provided

Had a very disappointing experience with my sons Memorial Service. When we met with the Nie Funeral Home they told me they would care of everything and make it perfect for my son. I couldn't believe how untrue that ended up being. They had other peoples photos mixed in with our slideshow. Apparently they were other families that had services there. I had 3 songs picked out for the service and they could not figure out the audio  while the songs were playing. Instead of just stoping the music (during the actual service) they kept trying to get the horrible sound system right. At that point they should have just stopped the music. This also continued for the other two songs. There was never any interaction from the staff to see if everything was going ok. The staff never refilled my sons memorial pamphlets. My 13 year old, who was grieving the loss of his brother, was doing it.There were so many people who never received them because they were in the office. I wanted this perfect for my son and I can't believe the amount of mistakes that happened. The sound system and slideshow should have been checked before the service began. We could have brought a speaker if we would have known there was a problem with theirs. I have contacted the GM and didn't get much from him. At a time of terrible grieving a family should not have to deal with this. They were very aware I was upset about this when I left that day and I never even received a phone call from them. I reached out to the GM days later and like I said......not sure he cared at all.

I too was at the Saturday memorial that was just reviewed by another and could not of said it any better!!!! So unprofessional. The family ended up with roughly 150 of the tribute programs that where not being refilled that so many of us would of loved to of had, is just unbelievable and unacceptable. My heart goes out to the family.

My husband and I had a stillborn Sep 2017.  Nie funeral home coordinate with the hospital for our sons cremation.  They where so sweet to my husband and I.   I know our son was well taken care of.  They made this heart breaking experience a little easier for us.   We appreciate you guys so much!
