My husband, my children and I have been going to Nielson Family Dentistry now for more than 30 years! We've never had a bad experience. Don is a great dentist who is extremely skilled, careful, and uses good judgment about what is needed and when. He does a great job hiring competent and friendly staff. For about 8 years, he also took care of my elderly parents, and treated them with tremendous respect and gentleness. I've never had a billing issue with his office. This office has their act together! They have my highest recommendation!

Dr. Nielson seems nice, but the front office staff is horrible! From the minute we walked in as a new patient, we were treated poorly. They are very harsh and unkind. Then, my daughter received a filling that was supposed to be tooth colored, and it was grey. It does not come close to matching her tooth. When I called to ask questions about it, no one called back. I finally called again and asked to talk to the doctor or a nurse about it, and no one was available. They said someone would call me back. No one ever did. They charged me $50 for her filling, saying that is what the deductible would be. They charged $140 for the filling, and her insurance only covered part of it, so we still had a charge of $16. That is more than I have ever paid for a filling. When I called to ask about it, I was treated with the same disrespect as before. They were very matter of fact and uncaring. I told them we needed to go ahead and cancel our upcoming appointments because we had really bad luck with them. They didn't have anything to say about it and didn't seem to even care. We will NEVER go back to this dentist and do NOT recommend whatsoever.

I am always comfortable and relaxed when I go to the dentist at Nielson Family Dentistry. The staff is always friendly and courteous and the doctors are terrific! I highly recommend this office.

Man, I love you guys! No wait in the lobby. I truly enjoy Connie. She is gentle and does a fine job. Seeing Dr. Don always brightens my day. The only problem was that your efficient service had me back in the office in less than an hour. Drat! I wanted to drag it out all morning. - Amy
