A one of a kind tour as its the only one open to the public and restored, the tour is great and the benefits of having veterans tell their stories makes it even better. The site would benefit greatly from increase funding, to make it more operational, however, we did get a minor run through with the doors opening. The only major downside is the limited time its opened for.

Great place to learn about History! If you are a science major and love Aerospace - This place is for you, don't miss its guided tour, you have no idea what you would have missed until you visit former site critical to US defense.

Very cool military history  in the Bay Area. The Park Rangers were professional and excellent. Tour is mandatory and they will escort you throughout the site. You get to see the underground bunker and more.

The only restored Nike Missle sight in the country. Part of our Cold War defense system. They can actually bring a (decommissioned) missle out of the  bunker and raise it to launch position in mere minutes.

Definitely one of the greatest experiences on my US road trip along the West Coast!
We just happened to stumble across this amazing site, because we didn't know how to pay the Golden Gate Bridge toll, and we had to branch off to look it up on Google. 
There was no service, and we had to drive for a while to find service, and that's when we happended to pass this site. 
And it was open and they were about to launch the last tour of the day. Talk about luck!

Our guide was a very knowledgeable gentleman who took us through the inner workings of the site with great enthusiasm!

I'm visiting again next time I come to San Fran!
