Best BBQ in the Panhandle!  There I said it. SERVICE - Friendly ATMOSPHERE- a little crowded but worth it. FOOD- was the best meal I have had ever, excluding my wife cooking of course. PRICE- was a bit intimidating but,worth it. This definitely isn't a Happy Meal, but you should see the smile on my face!  The Ribs is what you must have.  It fell off the bone and is honestly the first time I've eaten BBQ with a fork!  The brisket was good as well.  With a slight hesitation I tried the BBQ sauce,  for those of you that do know me, I don't like BBQ Sauce atleast not until just today.  The green beans were good but, a little sweet for me.  And the Mac and Cheese was on point.  The bread was basically an after thought however, I would have preferred it toasted at least.   I highly recommend this place and would even go as far as naming this place, as my new favorite spot, in Amarillo!

Food was great and the people were very welcoming; food prices were also reasonable for what you get. Bathroom was clean. John the owner has been BBQ'ing for 20 years including big competitions and was telling us details I had never heard of like being aware of the PH level acidity of the meat while preparing the food. Highly recommend.

Called to get pricing on catering for event, they were so helpful. I just told them here the budget, do what you can and they provided our guests with the BEST pork butt and potato salad and Cole slaw! I hate Cole slaw but this Cole slaw is just amazing! Tons of compliments! They delivered to us day of we had no issues, if we had questions we would text and have a response in minutes! We will definitely use them again and I know we will be eating there personally as well! Amazing! Love supporting local businesses!

We stopped in on our way back to Colorado because we saw it was military owned.  Absolutely delicious pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese! The flavors were on point, and the portions were generous. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout our visit. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving some top-notch BBQ!

I received big portions on my 3 Meat Plate Ribs, Jalapeño Sausage, and Turkey, with Mac&Cheese and Cole Slaw for a fair price and with great service - hell of a dining experience. I’m especially grateful for the military discount they offer. Unfortunately they ran out of brisket and pulled pork when I came in 2.5 hours after opening, so I’ll keep in mind to get here earlier next time, looking forward to it!

We stopped by recently for lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed the great BBQ served up by John and his team. The service is very friendly and informative. We enjoyed a 3 meat platter of the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and several sides. The quality was excellent. Thank you!Food: 5/5

This is one of our newest favorite BBQ places to go.  The place is small, but the service and food beats most any place you would want to go eat.  We do recommend going early, because they are so good, they will run out of some menu items as it gets toward the end of the day.  I have to add that this is the ONLY place we have found mustard based potato salad that is as good or better than any we've had.  We've tried most everything on the menu, and it was all delicious.  Also, they serve a BBQ meatloaf meal on Fridays only, and it starts being served at 4:00 PM Central Time, and will run out quickly on most Fridays.  I've never had a meatloaf like it before, but it will make it hard to eat meatloaf anywhere else now.  Please support this business, because it is one you want to keep around.

I had "the medic", smoked Mac and cheese topped with pulled pork. It was very good, and for the price it was plenty of food, I took some home. Great service. Some of their other menu items seem a bit pricey is the only reason I gave 4 stars.Food: 5/5

Loved the family meal as we got to try 4 delicious meats sliced brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and ribs and my favorite part of the meal, 4 sides. They were all so good! We ordered smoked mac and cheese husband's fave, coleslaw my fave, BBQ beans kids' fave, and potato salad everyone's fave. They also give you a choice of sliders, buns, or toast. Huge portions left us enough for dinner too. Ana our server was very friendly and came to check on us multiple times as did several of the other staff. We felt very welcome as out of towners driving through and are excited to come back again next time. Thank you!

HANDS DOWN BEST BARBECUE IN TEXAS!!!!!! Wow!!! The ribs are absolutely to die for, and the brisket is so tender and juicy you can cut it with a fork!! The pulled pork was great also!! The flavor was amazing!! There is absolutely no need for sauce, because the flavor is all in the meat!! They have a great sauce available, but you don’t need it!! The service was awesome!! So friendly, knowledgeable, and fast!! I absolutely love the respect shown to the military within the restaurant and the meaning of the name. There is no other place in the state of Texas that can even compare to the barbecue at Nine Line!  I can’t wait to come back and try the famous meatloaf on Monday!!
