A GREAT place to bring your kids for a fun day! This place has an awesome playground for kids to play on, and conveniently placed picnic tables for the adults to supervise from. The pond is also always a fun spot to take your kids! It's not far from the playground, it has a gradual increase of depth of the water, is usually teeming with sunfish that kids can catch with a net, and is a great place to teach your kids to swim! I took the two kids I looked after for year to this park all the time - every nice weather day we got during the summer when school was out. They had a blast and I really enjoyed it too!

An oddball of a park. I think there used to be an airfield there. The trails get 5 stars for the view and the music festivals are fabulous, another 5 stars. The 4 stars is because when I went their with my child years ago, the beach was zero stars--full of cigarette butts. I haven't been to the beach lately so I hope that's changed! There's also a great playground. Plenty of parking. Go for the Rhythm and Roots Festival if you can!

There are so many events here. Huge park lots to do. Pond is nice for swimming. Playground has lots. Great biking too.

Had a wonderful time with our grandchildren who were enjoying swings and slides as well as the other play things available.

This place is scenic. Great place to enjoy being outside and to relax.
