Alfred was very kind and helpful. I was charged the whole amount upfront which others mentioned. The set I ordered is beautiful and was a sale item. The quality was a true value. It took a few days to get my delivery because of the holiday but the staff made it happen for a perfect thanksgiving !

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I felt the excellent service and beautiful furniture  demanded recognition.  I have nothing but high praise for Nino Madia, and Alfredo the salesman we dealt with on several occasions.  In late summer 2017 my mother and I ordered a furniture set from Nino Madia made in Italy. Nino himself sat with us and helped guide us through the mounds of lovely upholstery samples.  Nino answered all of my (many) questions with great patience.  I appreciated his honesty and knowledge. The furniture took several months to arrive but was worth the  wait.  Upon arrival I noticed the factory had changed the material beneath the armrest. Nino offered to order new ones without question.  I decided to keep the material as is because it actually looks better than what we originally chose.  Finally, I applaud Nino’s customer service. I was always made to feel welcome and not pressured at Nino Madia’’s even  when I was window Shopping.  In today’s world it is difficult to find establishments that truly go out of their way to provide  excellent customer service.

I went in with my 84 year old mother and purchased furniture. We paid the furniture upfront, which I might add was a huge amount. That was in June. Now we are in Thanksgiving and not only have they NOTdelivered the furniture, the parts they did deliver were wrong and broken. Taking legal action. TIP: make sure you get your furniture before you pay. Very bad business practices. Spread the word.

*After reading the response from Mr. Madia I reiterate that the service here is AWFUL. Yes my mother finally got her furniture which was delivered after almost 6 months of badgering. One of the most expensive pieces was delivered cracked and is still not fixed. I understand that it was a special order. But the constant “it will be there this week” promise  to my 84 year old mother is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! When the furniture was no where near. No explanations about natural disasters or anything else was EVER explained or said. The key in this issue is communication and willingness to accept responsibility when your company fails in its obligations. AGAIN I TELL YOU TO BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY AND PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS AS YOU WILL SEE THAT WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES.

My family and I have purchased numerous pieces of furniture from Nino and have always been satisfied with the end result. Nothing is ever perfect so just like anything, we have had some hiccups through the years, but Nino always comes through for us. My entire home - formal living room, dining room, master bedroom, (and soon kitchen chairs) is all furnished from Italy through Nino. The delivery process from Italy has always been and will likely always be a rocky one unfortunately - there are often delays and things don't always come on time. That said, it doesn't always happen, but when it does, the end result is worth it - beautiful unique furniture that likely no one else in your family or any of your friends will have (unless they shop with Nino lol!). I can certainly appreciate the frustration of waiting so long for furniture (I was married in June and my furniture was supposed to arrive by April and it came in September because of a screw up by the manufacturer - and Nino was more than willing to give me temporary pieces which I said no to since we had other furniture to live with for the time being) - but after building a home I can honestly say NOTHING custom or worth it, happens or arrives quickly - these things are not mass produced, they are basically made to order. I hope people can appreciate that mistakes happen and the custom world has delays and isn't always perfect - but again VERY worth it in the end!!!
