I've brought my shelter rescued beagle here about every 3 weeks or when he starts to get too stinky. He is always happy to see the ladies and get his bath. My dog was abused by his former owners and is very skiddish around new people and environments but after our first trip in he looks forward to going, sometimes its hard for me to get him willing to leave!
All in all I am very happy that I found Nirvana to take such good care of my pup and my nose. 

5 years since my original review and while my beagle is no longer with me due to old age I now have my late grandmothers dog who is a very very stinky and hairy dog. They schedule our appointments well in advance and on the rare occasion that we can't make an appointment as scheduled they work hard to make sure she makes it in for a trim and bath. I've tried to trim her myself and the extremely low rates they charge make it well worth me never having to do it again!

I take all 3 of my cats there to get their nails cut and the girl that always does them is great.  She is patient with me because I have to make 3 trips (can't get them together at one time) and is very quick and available.  I would highly recommend them to anyone everyone is so nice there.

I usually have NO issues with them and thought they were the best, and reasonably priced.  My friend recently took her short haired dog there and they returned her with rake marks on her skin because of how hard they pushed the clippers on her.  This opened up her skin causing boils.  She took her to a vet who put her on antibiotics.  She called and their excuse was, "next time you bring her in, put a note under her collar saying her skin is sensitive." Never did they offer a refund AND this wasn't the first time she brought her there so there really isn't an excuse.  

They also had my friend's small poodles where one had to have surgery after leaving there because of he pulled his ACL.

I'm very sad and disappointed because they usually did a good job with our dogs.  We WILL not be returning, regardless of pricing.  I do not trust my dogs with them anymore.
