Good for getting into college and earning prestige as well as earning a high GPA, but seriously, the teachers only care about their next paycheck; in other words, if the teachers could automatically fail all of their students without any repercussions for themselves, they would. The school used to have a friendly chill library staff, but now they just yell at you for everything and anything. Don't even get me started on their lunch prices XP. Alright, enough hate... for now. There are those in the school who actually care, such as the awesome Coach DeRocco, who puts forth his best foot every day. There are few, but they make the high school experience a bit more tolerable. Oh, one last thing; NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER take any English class with the teacher named Kelly Moore, unless, of course, you are a white female who wants to study English in college as a major. Otherwise, if you get stuck in any of her classes, even regents, or in my case, AP 11 English (Why did I do this?), you will be discriminated against both personally and as a class. In addition, your grade will never be above an A-, even if you focus on that class in particular. Thank you for reading my review!

I love playing cello in rehearsals with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra at Niskayuna High School. The school is so clean and the staff very hospitable. The music program has a tradition of excellence that inspires students, and is a source of pride for those of us who teach privately in the area. All the best, Will Hayes, cellist
