The only reason they have so many 5 star reviews is because when you rent from them they reward you ($50 off your rent or something like that) for reviewing them. I've only looked at a handful of their rentals, but all of the ones that were cheap enough that I could afford were pretty bad. Smelly and/or had bugs. And to me the rent was really high for how bad of a house/apt you got. I also felt kind of lied to. My husband and I went in to see just one specific rental and paid the application fee for each of us and the woman who showed us the apt knew it was the only one we were interested in. We looked at a couple others but expressed that we didn't like them and that we were super interested in the one. The next day or so we found out that the apt we liked was already rented and it really seemed like it had already been almost definitely rented when we looked at it, but we were not told that and they got our application fee money for it. I also have a friend who rents from them who said they don't ever want to fix anything, even if it's a health concern for her and her children, like old nasty carpet. I wouldn't rent from them unless I just really was super desperate and couldn't find anything else.

I relocated to Mineral Wells from San Diego California I had never been to Mineral Wells. I was referred to Nix Rental home's by a friend. I got on their site and quickly found a duplex that I wanted. The process was quick and easy and I was able to move in right away.
That was in October and I am so very pleased with my decision whenever I put in a maintenance request it's addressed the very same day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 
I would recommend Nix to anyone, they definitely live up to their reputation.

If you're looking for a home or an apartment, i highly recommend that you go to Nix rental. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! They do repairs quickly and efficiently.

I have been NSC for about 15 months now and they are awesome! They always work with me when I'm needing to pay my rent in payments instead of all at once. The staff is great and very friendly. I highly recommend renting from them!
