I had to ship my drone to NJ Drone Academy from another seller because they were the US branch that did repairs for them. Jim from NJDA called me as soon as they received my drone for repair and kept me up to date all along the repair process. Repair was quick and Jim was very courteous throughout.

Got a receiver that did not work, I want to thank NJDA for repairing my quad. There rates were fair and they were fast. Nice people.

Best place to learn to build and fly UAVs. The learning facility has expanded, so there is much more room to learn, build, and fly. The faculty is great and very helpful. The classes are small, so you can grasp a better understanding of UAVs. On top of that, their store prices beat any other hobby store around (based on multiple hobby store prices around central/north NJ); they match online prices, and do not add shipping charges if they have to order an item. I highly recommend this company.

Small local family business, friendly/personal experience. The place provides training - one of the best places to learn how to fly UAV in East Coast. The instructors are very patient & knowledgeable.

I would like to make clear from the outset,  my feedback regarding The NJ Drone Academy is a reflection of their business practices, and does not necessarily pertain to any other aspect of this operation to my knowledge.

I am writing this primarily to warn other potential customers of the unrealized commitments made to my wonderful wife, when purchasing a gift from this business.
Simply summarized; if you plan to purchase anything electrical (a large contingent of their stock) you will not be given the benefit of a refund whether the product is opened or not. 

In the event you end up in the position of my thoughtful wife, spending $1650.00 on a quadcopter and charger as a gift, I advise extreme caution with assurances that you may return them. Due to the scale of the investment, my wife  went to great lengths to confirm the precise arrangement with the owner, Mr. Barnes, and was assured she could effect a return if necessary. Those assurances have turned out to be baseless despite all items being unopened/unused. If you have any doubt - I strongly advise purchasing by way of a larger, more reputable online retailer who will accept a return.

At issue is an unrealized commitment upfront and a genuine lack of desire to resolve the issue after the fact. This despite our repeated attempts to reach a satisfactory compromise, both in person and certified mail.

I would like to reiterate this is purely based only on our sales experience at the NJ Drone Academy. I advise not to pay with cash, and do not expect a refund unless you receive a written commitment.

Finally, I would like to make very clear, I do not relish providing negative feedback, I'm a huge advocate of small business. My wife and I are local professionals to the Flemington/Raritan area and understand the importance of good, honest business practices. 
It is my sincere hope that  I may be able to edit this review in the event a reasonable outcome is reached.
Update, 11/20/15. No contact of any kind. Directed the matter to The Better Business Bureau.
