The smoked wings and sweet potato fries were good. The parking and seating situation were challenging. People save large spaces well into the football games, leaving nowhere to sit inside. There should be a limit. They could have better drink specials.Food: 4/5
First time here, I’m an Oklahoma resident came down for the game. Aaron deserves all the credits for this bar! He’s the ONLY reason we tipped $100 and I hope to god he pocketed it, but from someone who’s been in the service industry for years I know he won’t. This bar has the BEST GM please take him on company trip he’s carrying the team lol. He is definitely the reason this place gets 10/10!
Went to Nodding Donkey to catch a game and sat outside. It took about 20 minutes for anyone to greet us and take our drink order. The host at the door seemed somewhat indifferent, and we had to flag him down just to get service. Our drinks came in mismatched, non-standard cups. We ordered two appetizers—donkey balls and nachos—both of which were underwhelming. After a few drinks, we tried the margarita and pepperoni pizza, which were both well-made and delicious. The service overall was lackluster; it took several requests to get a water bowl for my dog. Flies were everywhere, which became quite annoying. Although we were outdoors, the crowd seemed dull and not particularly welcoming—definitely not the kind of sports bar where you’d go to meet new people. Overall, it was an okay spot for a Sunday Funday, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
Service was good and atmosphere were great. I definitely enjoyed being there. The drinks were nice too. My only complaint was my food. I ordered the tenders and fries never got the fries what came out is different than what was expected. They were strips of strips... My main issue with it was, you can get them dipped in a sauce, I got mine dipped lemon pepper. It was SOOOOO salty. I ended up not being able to finish the plate. Which is unheard of for me. Overall, I would give them a other chance.
Love the fries here a lot of TV’s which is great to watch sports. Wings are solid too, love the S&A sauce. Only thing is I’m not too much of a fan of the mason jar glasses for beer, would prefer a normal pint glass. Also wish Coors Light was on tap. Overall great place 5 stars.Food: 5/5
Great local sports bar! Liz is amazing, very tentative, organized and friendly. I would come back just to see her every game day! Drinks were quick, crowd was loud, what more could you ask during a football game!Food: 5/5
5 star service from the bar staff. Not sure if they are on the payroll but the 6-7 young gentlemen that took over the TouchTunes were incredible. Played hit after hit - if they aren’t on the payroll, they should be. Highly recommend barFood: 5/5
Decided to visit Dallas for the first time, we looked up restaurants near us and we came across this gem. Karina was our bartender, she was fantastic. We came back at the end of our trip before heading home, lucky us Karina was working. Thanks for the great times, I definitely recommend this place if you want great service and a chill environment.
Watched game #1 of the World Series, our server Kaitlin was always checking on us for the several hours we were there… we ordered several things off the menu, all exceptional which is saying something with having a packed house for the game. We ordered the lemon pepper wings three times, they were that GOOD . Wish I could duplicate them at home. Smoked and lightly fried?
Service was TERRIBLE!! Bartender without the glasses was extremely rude and showed no attention. He was serving people around us and my party tried to get his attention and he was ignoring us on purpose after making eye contact with him. Will not recommend if you are a minority. I noticed how he was servicing and treating people of color. Very distasteful and will not be coming back. He wore a grey shirt and even said “ he can go somewhere else “ as in to help another guest besides the party I was with. My response was “ actually we will go somewhere else” and left.
