Story

Both drop-off and on-site service is available. We offer free diagnostics, a flat-price quote, and no-stress explanations of what is needed to fix your computer. Services include: virus and spyware removal and protection, software and hardware upgrades, computer setup, operating system installs and re-installs, and instruction and tutoring on software (e.g., Adobe Suite) and hardware (e.g., router setup). We also custom build PCs, and are available to work with you on many computer-related projects - just ask.

I called NohoTek looking for some help with a hardware issue I had been having with my desktop. I called fully expecting to get an answering machine, or needing to wrestle with an operator to get any sort of help, but Andrew (the owner himself) picked up right away and was very courteous. He offered to come out right way to have a look at my computer and arrived promptly. He was very cordial and personable through the whole experience, and made me feel sure that I could trust him to care for my computer. Ultimately, the issue with my computer could not be fixed for less than what a newer computer would cost so I opted to have him back-up my system instead of fixing the issue. He was very quick about producing results. Andrew was even kind enough to offer me some alternative options, including offering to help me find a new -inexpensive model- computer, so as to save me time and money. I would definitely call Andrew again for any computer issues in the future. He is very customer oriented, provides great service, and I will certainly recommend his services to friends.

It's hard to imagine a better experience with a computer repair. Andrew is not only quite professional, he's friendly and very patient as he explains as much - or as little - as you'd like to know about the repair. The turn around from drop off to pick up was just as expected and the price of repair quite reasonable. Whether you need a MAC or PC repair I'd highly recommend this guy!

NohoTek went above and beyond designing and launching a website for our business. Andrew was responsive to my ideas and questions and also offered his own creative ideas for how to best promote my company. The price and service were both awesome and Andrew is easy and fun to work with. I will definitely use NohoTek in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

I called Andrew at NohoTek thanks to several excellent on-line reviews. Again and again customers praised his reliable, reasonable and timely service. So, when my computer refused to boot, and another technician immediately replaced my 10 month old hard drive without even testing it, I called Andrew to see if he would check out my old drive to see if it was indeed dead. He agreed to remove it, test it, and, if necessary, replace it for $40. Working out of an office in his home, Andrew met me with a smile, and asked me to call back in an hour. When I phoned, he told me the disk worked, but he wanted to check it out thoroughly for no extra charge. At last the work was done - My old drive, which turned out to be even better than the rebuilt “replacement," was humming along without a glitch. As a bonus, Andrew showed me several features about my computer which I hadn’t even realized were there. Now, I’ve got my computer back, a spare hard drive should I ever need it, and I’ve saved myself days of restoring old files, all for 40 bucks! One extra bonus -- On my Rolodex I’ve got the name of a reliable, helpful, local computer technician whom I know I can trust! Who could ask for more!?

Andrew was great. Very straight forward and personable. Plus his prices are better than most with the same quality service and he's quick so I was able to pick it up in a day or two. Would recommend.
