Was going to try this place as I receive a discount with my employer, however after these reviews I will absolutely not trust anyone there wth my hair! I suggest the owner/manager at this salon take better care of the clients and provide training for her stylists as the concensus is they all are awful hair stylists. Disappointing!

I am tremendously disappointed by the poor customer service I received from Noir Salon. The behaviour of the stylist and staff involved was incredibly unprofessional and it wasted two days of my time. I absolutely do not recommend this salon and will never return. 

I booked a colour treatment with a new (new to me) stylist for last week. I had switched around other obligations and had come into work early in order to make it to the appointment on time. Unfortunately, the stylist's car got stuck in the snow and she couldn't make it to the appointment - it happens, no big deal. However, as this was an inconvenience for me, considering all the schedule changes I had to make, and because the cancellation was last minute, I requested for some sort of discount on the rebooked appointment. I was promised a free blow dry. This felt like a fair arrangement and I booked another appointment with the stylist for the following week.

Today I once again had switched my schedule and drove through bad rush hour traffic to make it to the appointment on time. Once I arrived, someone I didn't recognize who I had not booked with collected me from the lobby and was about to start the appointment. This was not the stylist I had booked. 

When questioned, the receptionist behaved as if I had actually booked with this second stylist when I knew I hadn't. I had been disappointed with my colour on a couple other occasions and requested a senior stylist this time - this was an intermediate stylist. The receptionist was unwilling to provide any clear explanation and spent a few minutes hemming and hawing. 

The stylist with whom I'd actually booked finally emerged to tell me that she had been informed by salon staff that I'd had a problem with her missing the last appointment and that I was given a new stylist for that reason. I informed her this was inaccurate; I had been upset that the previous appointment had been cancelled at the last minute but it had had nothing to do with her and as far as I was concerned, it had been resolved with the free blow dry. She took that opportunity to tell me that the free blow dry meant I was essentially getting half the service free. I'm not sure whether she was implying this discount was beneath her but it came across that way. 

As she was standing over me, unapologetic in her demeanour, I felt like I had been transported back 20 years to some high school disagreement and not as if I were a Noir Salon client of several years. She didn't apologize, simply stating through pursed lips that she had been informed I had a problem with her - this stylist I'd never met before with whom I'd tried to book twice - and that she had another client waiting. She was dismissive, refusing to coincide the error or to apologize for the colossal waste in my time on two separate days. 

Meanwhile, as this was happening, a gaggle of front desk staff gathered to watch the discussion from behind the counter. 

The whole experience was a demonstration of unprofessional kids' stuff that I'd assumed - wrongly, obviously - wouldn't be occurring in a business where client satisfaction is paramount. This was nonsense endemic to an unprofessional staff. I left with no resolution. 

I take issue with the appointment being changed without notice, with the way I was spoken to, and with the waste of my time. I certainly will not be returning.

They dyed my hair and I asked for light brown bayalage but what I got was gross orange blonde. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had in terms of my hair. I was embarrassed to go in public becuase it didnt blend at all into my natural hair colour. You could see where his brush was on my hair. When I called back to see if they could fix it they were rude to me and told me I was going to pay $250 for the same thing I had already paid $250 for. 
Save your time and money and don't go here.

Registered massage therapist is wonderful!! Would highly recommend Phany.  The aestheticians are generally wonderful, however some can be curt. Spa in general is costly so take advantage of promos and you must remind staff you have one. All in all lovely spa; but a must go for a RMT.

I had a lovely peppermint pedicure here today. The spa is clean and beautiful. The nail salon section is quiet and peacefully with relaxing music playing and soft lighting.
