Got the traditional 16 inch pizza and came away with mixed feelings. The ingredients were amazing and the pie was very flavorful. The downside was that it was a bit floppy and a little too cheesy. I think if it had more crisp it could’ve topped some of the other popular pizza spots in the area. The restaurant is very beautiful, clean, and visually appealing. It was cool being able to watch our pizza being made. I’d definitely recommend for those trying to avoid the big lines at Sally, Pepe, & Modern
It’s really 4.5 stars but I’ll round up! Pizza was AMAZING. I WENT 2 times. The first time was good but the second time was AMAZING. Monday night, not too busy and they just made the pizza perfect. Wouldn’t mind if the staff was a little more knowledgeable about the pizza oven but yea, I love this place. *Don’t tell modern I’ve been cheating.
We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a patate pizza. Both were very good. The pepperoni had great sauce and beautifully cupped pepperoni. I felt that the crust was a little weak. But a great experience. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
love how thin and crispy the pizzas are here! you have to order the honey pot pizza. it was sweet, yet savoury at the same time. the cheese, sausage and other ingredients were so perfectly balanced. the pizza crust was cooked perfectly as well. I didn't know how well honey goes with pizza until I tried it here!
The Honey Pot pizza is the best topping combo I’ve tried in New Haven maybe ever?? The flavor was incredible. Pizza was delicious and crispy. Came on a Monday night and was seated right away. Friendly staff, great dining experience! Wish they had regular soda - they only have Foxon Park which is not my favorite.
The food here is amazing, I haven't had these types of pizzas. Also the drink are also very good. I like the style this place has. I would have giving it a 5 stars but I found mold on my ice. For a suggestion just don't ask for ice in your drinks.
Competes with the pizza staples in New Haven. You won’t be disappointed but the menu can use some expansion. The equipment is there to brew beer and they were in the past; they should begin brewing again!
The surprise hit of our trip. The pizza here was outstanding. Sauce was robust, bursting with flavor. The cheese was melty, stringy, stretchy and the perfect kind of salty. Service was great too. Highly recommend this place.
The BEST Vegan pizza around. Great topping selection and the staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients. Love the Pollo added Brussels sprouts. SO GOOD.
Got the vegan pizza here for a vegan friend visiting - highly recommend! It was very similar to traditional New Haven pizza and I couldn't even tell it was vegan except for the substitute meats, which were still delicious. I appreciated the extensive vegan options and creativity in the menu.
